Geyser LNG conducts its business in compliance with all applicable environmental, ethical, social, health and safety laws and regulations, and applies responsible standards where such laws do not exist. Geyser LNG follows this process in all business and project planning, design and implementation which encourages respect and concern for the environment and emphasizes each employee’s individual responsibility in environmental matters through appropriate communications and training.

COMMUNITY

Contributing and taking care of our community social responsibilities is one of Geyser LNG’s business philosophy and we will partner with local stakeholders towards contributing to programs that will significantly benefit and uplift communities where we operate. We will support education, science and technology, health, infrastructure, and society. We will invest in the community after appraising the community’s long-term needs. We will devise useful ways to improve stakeholder relationships using appropriate feedback mechanism and sincere show of respect, swift responsiveness and concern.

ENVIRONMENT

Geyser LNG is happy to maintain consistent environmental stewardship. We will construct and operate our facilities with no harm to the environment. Our environmental stewardship had already begun following start of the ongoing screening and evaluation, and the subsequent site selection, engineering and permitting of the baseload LNG export project. Throughout project development phases, Geyser LNG has been looking and will be looking for ways to minimize adverse impacts to air, land, water and wildlife and we will be guided by feedback from public, stakeholders and federal, state and local resource agencies.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Safety is of utmost importance at every stage of development and operations of the proposed baseload LNG export project. We have a robust Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) Policy that commits to safe and responsible operations that safeguards environment and health in the communities in which we live and work. We are collaborating with partners to ensure public safety and a risk-based approach to personnel safety which means planning out tasks every day, tracking progress, sharing best practices or lessons learned, and using behavior-based safety to promote hazard recognition and healthy dialogue. Our partners will demonstrate high standards of ethical business conduct and must share our commitment to safety, reliability, quality, sustainability, and environmental stewardship, before we can work with them. Geyser LNG will complete all required regulatory approval processes relating to safety and health, and we are also committed to procuring facilities that are designed, constructed and operated to protect human health, and which fully comply with all applicable state, local and federal regulations, codes and procedures. We are determined to make the Geyser LNG project one of the most decarbonized LNG export facilities in the world.
